Useful way of raising gold

Starting in chapter one by the goblin fortress you're going to start coming across a -ton- of magical ammunition. Don't worry about using bolts (any kind, that I've found) or arrows or bullets that are simply +1 or +2.

BUT... any ammo with a title like "...of hunting", "...of fire", "...of wounding" do NOT use in combat. Rather, keep to sell. These things are -incredibly- over valued. A single bundle of 40 arrows of fire will sell for around 10,000 gold for the most extreme example.

The values are so over inflated I'm honestly questioning if it's a bug. For now at least, though, it's clear the value of these items lies not in their combat applications but in what they can be sold for.

Bear in mind, you will be running into creatures later on in the game that force you to use anything with the slightest chance of stunning, paralyzing, etc. Those damn dragons are *tough.*

I dunno... I'm just past the driders, and so far it hasn't been all that hard. Admittedly I'm playing on 'normal' mode, but I haven't seen anything -that- difficult yet. My worst moments so far were squaring off against a couple dozen hook horrors coming from both in front and behind; combination of sunfire spells from my wizard and healing potions for everyone else got me through that one, though :)

Just fought the second 'type' of dragon in the game. Heh. For what it's worth, a wizard with two ranks of spell penetration is invaluable there

That, and a lot of patience. :D ;)
