there are some cheat codes that sort of hack into the game that you can speed up stuff like romances. I read about it a LONG time ago before I even had an account here. maybe someone else can say what it is that you need to do to speed it up.

I never got it to work though.

U can speed up the romances.
This means u get a new dialog faster.

But this does not bring new dialogs in SoA.........u really need ToB for the new dialogs.

I have no idea how u can install ToB on a mac........but im quite sure someone has a hack or something (maybe u should ask UserUnFriendly)

Im quite sure your stuck with no tob for a while yet

As ive seen nothing on any post on this board or others that would entail otherwise...

Have you tried any mods to spice things up for another go round? (Perhaps some are available for mac..)

Theres some good romancable npc mods you might want to check for compatibility (Just take a look on the reference crossroads)

I beleive (not sure however...) the Nalia romance is available for mac.. If you can stomach it

uhhh, you could always buy a new puter....

Or have another round through planetscape, icewind dale or bg1 / totsc, it might shake off the infinity engine blues

Btw.. The code for prompting a romance Dialogue is...

CLUAConsol:SetGlobal("CharnameRomance","GLOBAL,1")

Charname being the name of the pc your romancing

Keep in mind, its case sensitive... And it cant trigger some dialogues eg : If you need to rest to trigger a dialogue, it wont instantly trigger through the use of this code.. But it will make sure it happens the very next time you rest

And this cheat.. As any other, should only be used when your having technical issues or rest assured, it will ruin your fun

If anyones interested as well...

The way to trigger a banter is

Ctrl +I
