Weasel's Pervaiding Influence

I for one have always regarded Weasel's shenanigens about 'world domination', 'controlling' or computers and being a 'high tyrant' as nothing more than a joke, a running comedy feature of his online alter ego...

But I was wrong.

My girlfriend's 6 year old sister recently received a make-it kit for her birthday. She now posesses the materials to create badges, and design whatever she wants on them. or so you would have thought.

But you would be wrong.

She made me a badge recently. Please look at the attachment, and tell me...

Does it remind you of anybody?

That's just freaky, man. He's getting into the heads of 6 year olds . . . what's next? Weasel Pacis™ for infants?

You do realize that there are subliminal messages beamed through kids' cartoon shows, telling them that Weasel is their father?

How dare you level such accusations about my father??? Weasel is good...Weasel is kind....Weasel should be obeyed at all times without question....

[I gotta stop watching those damned kid's cartoons... ]

I note the following, in a report from an Anglo-Japanese symposium on idioms:

"...That last comment brought an enthusiastic response from the audience. Indeed, the gravity of the situations that produced discussion of mokusatsu and hansei aside, the evening was regularly punctuated with bursts of laughter from the audience, particularly during the discussion of ``weasel words,'' Japanese phrases whose meaning seems to vary with the speaker and the hour."

Need I add that many US cartoons are Japanese anime? The links begin to grow.

From a quick google search for "weasel words" here's one site description:

Prime Time Parent Kit: Handout 12
Watching for "Weasel Words". ... Children can have fun watching for "weasel words," as they've been called, while at the same time developing an awareness of language. ...

You could be onto something here, Fable...

Wow froggie, that's quite a picture. I think the only way to find out if the whole thing is a coincidence or not is to show your sister this picture...and gauge her reaction. You may want to have hard restraints standing by just in case :p

And uh...

All evil tirants have good twin brothers, and they (in the movies at least) cause their downfall!

So you never know.... *evil laugh*

I am sorry, but humor is not allowed on a subject of international importance and concern as Weasel.

You have violated the rules. You will be required to live in the Weasel household for a week.

I shall notify your next of kin.

Poor fellow, that Rob-hin. He doesn't even realize what he's walking into. Oh well. I suppose that's for the best. There's something to be said for not looking up when a two-ton weight is charging down at you. :(

@Weasel, promise you'll suck out his brains quickly? We don't want a repetition of that last...case. The one that screamed for weeks before dying. It kept up the neighbors, and they complained.
