Just ended, thoughts (spoilers)

OK, just finished the game. I didn't find the end fights as easy as some.
I must have missed out on a lot of experience, either that or carrying a henchman around for the first half of the game hurt me. But I only finished with a 11 ranger/5 rogue, and that even includes gaining a level from a mod (Sword of Arcadi, really good one). I really don't know where I was gonna get another 70,000 XP from.
I didn't do any of the henchman quests, because I bungled this in Chapter 1. I used Tomi for the early game, to disarm traps and stuff. After I got a few rogue levels (yes I did it backwards, did ranger first, then rogue), I started using Daelan or going solo.
My equipment was Shadow Legion Armor, which I got fairly early in the game -- never found anything better. I had Astral Blade +2 and Feyduster +2. I like the longsword/short sword combo; kept expecting to find an uber weapon, like a longsword +4 with added bonuses or something. Astral +2 was good enough though.
I found the dragons very difficult, damnit. I mean, the White Dragon was no sweat and the Green Dragon wasn't so bad, but Klauth was the one sucker I didn't kill, because even after getting him to badly wounded with the dead dragon sphere, he would usually kill me before I got a single hit on him. Most of the fights in the game, however, were very easy.
As for the dragons at the end, again, I found them very difficult. Thank god I had carried the dragonslayer shield around with me. Otherwise I would have been toasted. As it was, I had to reload countless times. I had to cheese my way through, suck down potions constantly and keep teleporting away and back again.
To win this, I had to back myself into a corner (probably a dumb strategy in a real fight) so that only one dragon could hit me at one time.
The end fight was hard...until I figured out what the hell was going on. I used the psycho monk at the end of the game, and he died by running into the blades before I could smash the statue. After that though, Morag was relatively easy.
