Really Angry (need some help)

I am in chapter 3 now and I realized I no longer have Aribeth's ring. I didn't drop it or anything like that so where is it?! I am running version 1.18
If it is a bug is there anyway I can hack the item into my inventory and if so how?

Same thing happened to me in the German version. Fortunately, I noticed it in time and patched to 1.19, which solved my problem. Don´t know though, if this will help you. If you play a ranger or druid, you might have notice that after patching to 1.19, you can no longer summon your animal companion via the radial menu. You can work around though by assigning the summoning to one of your hotkeys.

Will updating to version 1.19 put the ring back in my inventory though? Or will it just prevent me from losing it if I play again? And I could be mistaken but the latest version is higher 1.19 (and I heard it has a lot of issues) so I don't want to d/l it. Anyone know where I can update to 1.19?

Latest version is 1.22 wich I myself am using, without much difficulties.
Of course, I seem to have been spared from most bugs all together

The German and/or European versions seem to lag behind with regards to patches, the most recent patch I found for the German version was indeed 1.19. I don´t know, though whether the German patch 1.19 is simply the localized original 1.19 patch.
