can elves dual class?
can anybody besides human dual class?
if humans can dual class why cant minsc?

Non-humans cannot dual-class. They can be multi-classed, almost the same, but not quite. This is a choice made ONLY during character creation.

Minsc probably cannot dual-class because he doesn't meet the minimum requirements for the class you are trying to dual him to (must have at least 17 in prime stat for new class).

ahhhhrrrrrgggggg if i read one more stupid dual class question i will scream.

OK ONLY humans can dual class, in order to dual class a human must have at least 17 in the prime stat of the class they wish to dual to and at least 15 in the prime stats of their current class class. the only thing minsc could dual to would be a cleric (because the only valid ranger multi class is ranger/cleric) he cannot because he would need to have at least 17 in wisdom (which he doesnt)

if i remember correctly the only npc that can dual class in the game is yoshimo (into a fighter)

he he well it does get a bit trying having the same questions over again. e.g

"Why cant my fighter with 7 int dual to a mage?"

"why cant my paladin/bard dual?"

"how do i kill kangaxx/balor/dragons?"

there are millions of topics on these and dont even get me started on jaheiras romance

I don't disagree with you, man. But you never know who's behind the keyboard. Be patient, make allowances, educate them. Help them be productive contributors.

Heh, perhaps they have...aquired the game without a manual, if ya know what I mean...

Cloud wasted more time flaming the poor fella than it would have taken him to read the post and politely ignore it. What is it about the internet that makes people think it's cool to be vicious?

Hey! You mind your own business!

searching the topics isn't always easy, especially if you're new, and you don't know exactly what your searching for. same goes for the manual.

i don't think such reactions are necessary.

btw: if you aquire the game, lets say on strange paths, then you have a pdf-manual in your game dir

btw2: what is the problem if someone asks questions like that ? the first reads it, answers like Saigo, and the topic ends at the bottom.

btw3: if this forum is for experts only, then someone should write that down somewhere.

ask any question you want, thats what we are here for. if questions wasnt asked several times, then why are we still here? those answering questions are here because they want to answer them. i can understan why you dont use the search function: it takes to much time scrolling through lots of junk to finally find what you wonder. so keep bringing the questions. and remember: there is no stupid questions, only stupid answers

@ Hazim ibn Gorion: like i said i wasnt having a mass go at him and i wasnt being vicious, i even said so in the post. You seem to think that all i did was slag him off, i did actually answer his question you know.

@nerun: when i saw the topic no one had answered and once i had posted the reply it refreshed the page and showed saigo's reply.

you know, "this reminds me of that time", when i entered the forum, and read a question that wasn't that, how can i say it... original.

i'm in this forum about 3-4 months and still i'm junior ( ), because i'm afraid to post. every night i went to bed, crying, and just asking myself, why nobody likes me ...

but now i see, that obviously it isn't exactly like that, because it looks like some people read my posts, and now i'm happy.

i just don't want others to suffer the same horrible way as i did.

lol, i dunno if the kensai mage makes a good dual class, i will post a topic asking it if you want.

I tried to do it once but for some reason it didnt work so i had to stick with my plain elven fighter with 6 int

If it's such an urgent, pressing matter, why didn't you read the manual, or at least the index for pages on dual classing?

Nasty, how? (blinks) I'm not flaming anybody. I'm honestly surprised that someone who comes across with such urgency hasn't done the tiniest basic research to find the answer to their question, in the most obvious place possible.
