Probably although there are several different types of RAM, all with different performance levels so it depends what you get.

You may find that a more powerful video card is a better option, as NWN tends to put a bit of a strain on the display system.
I have 512MB here, but recently upgraded my video card from a GeForce 256 to a GeForce 4 Ti4200 and it made a huge difference.

Same here - I had 512 ram and a Geforce 2. Game ran pretty well - upgraded to Geforce 4 ti 4200 - big improvement. The Geforce 2 chip is a few years old...time to upgrade - you can get the 64mb version of the Ti 4200 for around $150 online.

I bought extra RAM (SD), before installing NWM, so I now have 256. My video card is relatively basic, NVIDIA RIVA TNT Model 64, but the game runs very smoothly. Going by my own experience, I would suggest that boosting your ram should help.

I cannot imagine the game running smoothly on a TNT64.
That has to be on 640X480 with absolutely no details....

the question is will the game run smoothly on a Radeon VE card?

Depends on a lot of things.
If u use WinXP for example it could boost the game....
But generally I wouldn´t say if it´s running quite low-framed right now you will get it to run perfectly with an upgrade of RAM.
So what CPU are you using and what operating System ??

On another thread you posted you already upgraded RAM and the game never freezed again ?????
So you did that already I suppose...
Is it running any smoother ?
I guess not that much...

If you don't have an AGP slot (integrated graphics) you can buy a PCI video card and disable the onboard video. I know there is a version of the Geforce 4 MX440 that can be had in a PCI version for under $100.

Not to put down your pants, but though a little controversal...
And I don´t think, the game IS or WILL be running smoothly on your system...
So never buy a Computer with Onboard-Graphics again, hehe...
