This is probably a no brainer, but how to you acces your character bio in the game or edit it via the saved game file? I wrote a nice character bio and I can't even find it in the game. I would also like to edit it if anyone knows how, I left a few typos in it.

You can edit it in the saved game file with the .sav extension. Seek to the end of the file in a hex editor. Search backwords for your characters first name. You should see a section with your description somewhere after your characters name. Following the description is the deity, etc... What you want to do is count the number of characters you are going to have in the new bio. Unfortunetly you have to use the same size or less that the bio that is already in there. Once you have the number, Immediately before the bio you will see a special character. change this characters hex value to be the size you found the new description to be (you can convert between dec and hex values using the windows calculator). Next type the description overtop the other description and make sure you do not shift the contents of the save game file. When you are done typing, if there is any other text from the old bio, cover it up with hex values of '00'. You may want to back your old save game up before you try this.

About your comment refering to not being able to read the bio while in the game. I haven't figured this out either. It seems goofy that they would have left that option out for examining your own character. Let me know if you figure that one out.

Just a guess, but I think your bio can be read in-game when another player 'looks/examines' you. I really don't know, but since that's how we access descriptions of NPCs in NWN it would make sense to allow others (non-party members?) to read your bio when choosing the 'examine' command.

You can examine another characters bio, etc.. The problem is seeing your own.

You can see your own by possessing a familiar (if you're a mage or sorceror) and having your familiar examine you. Your bio should be right under the heading "friendly' IIRC.
