My, that's a lot of questions.

Let's see:

1) Playing over the Internet is pretty simple. First you log onto the Internet. Then you go into the game and click the multiplayer button on the main menu. This will link you up to an online server, where you can create a game or join a game. If you join a game, your PC will probably be in a party with other people's PC's. The game may or may not be headed by a DM.

2) A DM is a person who oversees a game module (or scenario). He can do a lot of different things, like spawn monsters or even possess them, giving him full control over what they do. The DM could be the person who designed the module, or even someone else, as long as he knows what's going on.

3) Creating a module is as simple or complex as you want it to be. You can create a simple dungeon in 10-15 min, just by loading an area and creating points for monsters to spawn and chest with random goodies. Or you can create an entire city, complete with people who give out quests and a true storyline. The single-player game was designed using the toolset that comes with the game. You can even create your own weapons and items and leave them on the dead body of a villainous boss figure. The options are numerous, though some people have complained about some of the limitations.

4) The Tournament of Champions is an official module released by Bioware, and I do believe you need Winzip to unzip it. You just unzip it to the modules folder in the game directory, and then you can access it right from the game. It's a multiplayer module (I don't think you can play it single-player), so you'll need to go into multiplayer and create a game, then wait for other people to join.
