Im having a problem in chapter one, in the docks district, I cant get past a door that is barred from the other side. I have gone through the silver sails trading company, then was sent downstream by the old man, then I came upon a room with Calik and Vengual on the other side. I defeated Calik and his guards, and now I cant get to Vengual on the other side because the door wont open. It says it is barred from the other side. I dont know if I need to do the quests in a certain order to get it to open, or if I have done something else in the wrong order. I also tried getting a pirate uniform and putting that on to see if it made a difference, but it didnt. I cant figure out how to get past this door and finish this part of the quest. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to walk around the corridor past where Callik and his two thugs were. It's a fairly long trip, and will eventually lead to Vengual. If you *still* can't get to him, go back to the tavern and go downstairs. You'll find a room where Callik's men were roughing up Vengual's girlfriend. Save her, and she'll give you a locket that unlocks the door.
