Can anyone help me out? I need adementite in Chapter 1 to make the desert wind schimitar but I have already used 2 pieces I think and need more. If anyone knows any places where I can get any that would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.

It seems pretty random, but I found an adamantite piece and a diamond in the dresser after killing the mage who had the pixie captive. (Pretty much any boss has the potential to have something good in their horde).(Random).

I found three in ch 1. Not sure where I got first two, but third one was a part of the reward( need pursuade) for finding never tomb artifacts.

if you're really hurting for Ademantite, then use the tried and true (yet so very lame) method of finishing off a boss, saving before you loot his chests, and then reloading until you get the desired results. (ie. check the chests over and over until you get what u want)

So it would be the best thing to do, is to save all the gems instead of selling them????

the only Gems you should be saving are Diamonds. (ademantite is actually a metal, but you cant sell it anyway cause it's worth 0 gp) I would recommend saving your diamonds until chapter 3. I wont say anymore than that for fear of unwanted spoilers hehe

You can sell it, though it is worth nothing. I inadvertantly sold some to the Paladin (forget her name ) at the Halls of Justice, and had to buy them back for 7gp. I have been unable to sell her other 0gp items though....thanks for the tip though

really? maybe that was a glitch or something, cause Aribeth wont buy any 0gp items from me. ( i can't even sell regular arrows/bolts to her..........how cheap is she? hehe) Not like you were hurting after the 7gp buy back anyway right?

LOL! Maybe a glitch, maybe because the game is allowing you to make the mistake of selling them, rather than have her refuse and you drop them Aribeth will not buy arrows or bolts from me either unless they are arrows of piercing etc...

hehe probably! You never know what those crazy developers are thinking. Too much coffee, too little sleep/braincells can be a deadly combination. (and i should know )

Question: Where is a good place to put items, where you can get to them later???

Especially, when you don't have the gp to buy the higher percentage magic bags.

i do one of two things

either find a chest in a convenient place, and put my unwanted items in there, or just place them directly in the hall of justice. Items will never disappear, but you must be careful! Lets just say there are certain points in the game in which it would be inconvenient, or even impossible for you to go back to Neverwinter to retrieve your items. (Dont switch chapters unless you have everything you need is what i'm saying hehe)

Ive either bought or found the enchanted bags of holding and I simply keep them all in my pack. Since most of the important items weigh next to nothing anyway, and the bags reduce the weight put in them, they weigh next to nothing. Then I just set them in the 5th tier of my pack and go on. That way I dont have to run back somewhere in case I find that I need something and dont have it.
