I have almost got the game to play but there is another problem sticking it's ugly face in to my computer

when i try to play the game (i have not yet managed to start it) the mouse pointer flickers and the whole game seems to stutter and it does not seem to play videos either

Do you have a packard bell pc?
They caused problems with BG with the keyboard and mouse. Perhaps that is the same with this problem.

Nevermind. I had a reply up, but then I saw you were spamming the forum with double threads.

Rattman - please use the same thread to your problems, starting multiple threads will not make it go faster.

And when the problemsolving progress, keep it in the same thread pls
