Some spoiler info ****************************
I have to say it was alot easier than expected, especially the Dragons...well all except 1
As easy as the game was it would've been easier on me if my henchman would fight smart.
I decided on The clumsy female cleric and while I enjoyed the banter with her she drove me crazy in many battles. I know it's a script problem but jeez.
Some examples
The last chapter of the game I have to fight some pretty tough creatures and by this time she has some very powerful spells at her disposal, the order she cast spells in a battle though is hard to understand. Here I am fighting a Half dragon Balor and she starts with the standard 3-4 flamstrikes when all I want her to cast is(I believe) Harm(its a column of red energy coming from the heavens) and most times takes out all the major hostiles, problem is sometimes she doesn't use it quick enough on the creatures you want and will use it on say...an orc. ???
There are also many times where she'll get hung up on a corner and try and cast spells all of which don't do squat because of the obstuction and I can't move her. Anyone know why we did't get to have control over the henchman??
Apparently she needs to have line of sight for the spells to affect the enemy but she'll still cast those same spells without line of sight.
All of that pales in comparison to this gem of a tactic, why oh why does she run all the way up to me when I'm fighting park herself next to an enemy and THEN..THEN try to cast spells???? The enemy isn't stupid I watched as the enemy was targeting me, as soon as she tried to fire a spell off, "she gets hit" looses spell try's again, "hit" same thing...this keeps up to either A, she dies because she kept trying to heal herself(which is most times) or she gets lucky and manages to get one in. I was hoping she would be smart...MOVE! get away from that guy!! I would yell at my screen, she never listened though
All of this would be cured if we had control over the henchman, can this be done in a patch?
I still love the game and cat wait to see what people will create.
