A question

Is there any reason why The blades of the Banshee isn't part of the Argyle web page under the guil section. Or is it only that the webmaster haven't updated yet?

BotB is a secret in terms of Argyle and preferably will remain that way until we are poweful enough to declare ourselves. Please don't mention that to anyone at Argyle (apart from the DM's... :) )

It has been a hard and tedious - but also amusing periode of time during wich we have manage to keep BoTB a secret at Argyle.

Only the DMs and a handfull of other people know of our existence as a group and not just as individuals.

Often have I myself, have felt the urge to "burst the bubble" and laugh out over Argyle when people have asked guild questions and the likes - but our day will come, when we will rise up and take charge of the world and roam as we see fit ..... oh wait - that was personal - strike that pls :D

No seriously - we try to keep it a secret.

The reason for this is plentyfold.
Guilds (non-NPC ones) can only be created ingame - the would likely get massive competion from the establish ones (especially NPC-run guilds)
Other PC guilds have been announced - and could convice us as a threat - thus it would be foolish to (how meta-game it might be) to get enemies (towards the guild - not personal :) ) out-game before the game.
And seeing as our story-line involve us being scattered without knowing anything - it would be better roleplay that way :)

It's also important to note that the secrecy and the delayed formation of the guild was the only way to get the DMs at Argyle to consider our inclusion. In fact, because of the way we've handled ourselves, we have gotten quite a lot of cooperation from the Argyle creators, and they have been able to plan for our existance in their world.

Now I am part of the DM staff (an assistant DM) then I can gather further information and manage this a bit better. :)

That's going to be so cool when we eventually just appear through now where and establish ourselves as a large guild where the already acknowledged guilds think they are safe. So if no one babbles besides their mouths the surprise might give as a chance to take over the world and start the years of domination all over again (insert a very evil laugh here), this time ofcource it will be guild domination and not races. ;)

Jokes aside this is a really good idea, I'm just now writing an awsome bio to go with my char. I'm just wondering where do I send it and also do I need NWN in order to submit a char? I don't know when I'll get it so... it could be a while until I recieve it. Possibly september

I guess you've been to the Ruminations board, then submit it to Pranker or Rhino. As for the BotB, PM Xandax ;)
