Help with book needed

Hi all,
I am currently very busy on writing a book. Now I need a little help form the Americans here:
How is the technical 'service' of the FBI called. The ones who take finger prints, DNA samples and stuff like that on a muder scene?
Thanks, and there are going to be more questions I think.
