Driver versions

Is there an easy place that I can check to see what version of a driver I have installed on my computer. I know where to check for video card drivers, but more specifically driver related to my motherboard. Like checking for the bios, chipset and I have a raid configuration so where would that be. I ask because just for kicks I went to the motherboard website and it looks like there may be some updated drivers (dates are recent). SO my only problem is findin out what I have.

It is going to be machine dependent on how to get there but most of the info you want is in the computers BIOS. What kind of computer do you have???

The system properties control panel applet should provide you with the details you need. Just select the individual drivers and check the properties of each. Windows 98 and upwards gives fairly detailed information on driver vesrions.

Does the system properties have bios drivers in the device manager? Perhaps something I've always missed.

Generally the BIOS is completely independant of the operating system, so the only drivers vaguely related to it are power management and disk controllers. The chipset is in there though, and it is under the 'System Devices' section, however this very rarely gets updated.

Comp is home built. AMD athlon 1.4 with Gigabyte Motherboard in raid config. 2 20gb West Dig Hard drives. GeForce2 GTS 64 mb video card. Win xp installed

WinXP includes all the drivers for the chipset and power management etc...
If you're referring to a BIOS update, Windows is again completely independant of this. What motherboard model do you have and what BIOS revision? You can see this during the initial startup tests when you turn the computer on.
