Even though I have not been an enduring fan of the X Files like some of you, I am curious to know what others thought of the way the series wrapped up. Personally, I found it enjoyable, though the central premise-- that Mulder would not divulge the alien's ultimate agenda because of what he feared would be a negative impact on Scully -- did not ring true for me. How could he think, after all they had been through, that this could possibly break her spirit? Why was he so convinced that nothing could be done about it?

That said, it was great to see them both together again and I think their scenes were sensitivity handled. I also liked seeing some of the old characters again as well.
