SPOILER

The other day I was going through BG yet again. I entered the Iron Throne HQ having everyone equipped with either Oils of Fiery Burning, Potions of Explosions, Necklace of Missiles, or Wands of Fire....Needless to say, there were a heckuva lot of explosions. Much to my surprise, it turned the Iron Throne baddies into gibberlings (in difficulty).

I get to the underground cavern battle in Ch. 6 in Candlekeep, with wands of fire and two necklaces of missiles. I start the dialog, rush Minsc in there, beefed up and with a protection from fire scroll cast upon him, and I start whipping out fireballs from all directions. I don't know about you, but this made the game much, much, much easier........

I've done that in Durlag's Tower - I had virtually every party member flinging a fireball down range in a certain game arena. :)

This was the classic cheese method of BG, one would just stand outside the creatures range and keep blasting at them with fireballs, it made every encounter a walk in the park :)

Try 3 archers with arrows of detination and a oil of speed!
That's a killer!!!!

i have a
ranger dualing in SoA to cleric
fighter thought of dualing to thief, haven't decided yet
illusionist/thief
cleric/mage
transmuter
conjurer

everyone has either fire ball or skull traps ready, blast away :D :p

mage heavy party i might add :D :D

just bought 60 arrows of detonation just for kicks to see where to put them in use :D

one thing i don't quite get: everyone has the pre made char illusionist/thief... the funny thing is he starts with pretty high points in thieving, i have him at level 6 and he's almost 100 in everything(25% to hide in shadows from boots) strange, i tried to make same kind of char and i had much less points to start with and the pre made char was lvl 1/1
