another idiot question

So now I'm back to the mortuary after acing the Deva and I can't find the portal to the Fortress of Regrets. I tried talking to Dionarra, but that didn't seem to do much for me. So then I walked all around looking for the damn thing. What am I missing?

If you go back to the room where you first start the game and walk towards the centre of the map (there should be a large circle in the middle) a dialogue should begin and then you follow it from there

This one can sometimes be a royal pain to find.
Highlight for spoiler:
Take your party into the room where you first started the game, then have NO walk around the room until he senses the portal.
