Magic Thievery made easy

Post by Biljac »

haven't seen this mentioned so figured I would say a word about it. buy you a cheap telekinesis spell then have a long range one spellcrafted that you can use. I have found tons of spots where I can stand like in next room or behind something (posts work great, if you can't see the NPC then he can't see you) and snatch their booty right from under thier noses. checked this on that......
SPOILER ALERT!!!

.sword of the white rose in the guard tower of Balmora. there is a guard constantly standing right beside the cabinet that the sword is on top of. well if you get by the bed and get the big wood post between you and him, you can snatch that sucker right off the cabinet and walk away smiling cause ya just lifted a 16k awesome 1handed long sword :)

i have found that casting Hide (invis) and grabbing an item will turn you visible but AFTER you have snatched the item. so, invis per cast can net you 1 item per cast without being caught. this has worked for me at the Dren Plantation and at the Telvanni house in their magic town (forget the name)
