Check out GameFAQ. They have great walkthroughs, tips, instructions, and basically as much or as little help as you want on a wide assortment of games (including info on FF7 materia). Image
Nature’s first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold.
Her early leaf’s a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

It adds the elemental effect of the materia to the combined weapon or armour. basically, if you equip a fire materia to your weapon, the weapon will then do elemental damage of the corresponding materia. The same thing can be done with summon materia. Another good materia to pick up is Added Effect materia. When paired with Ultima, you can do quick a bit of damage.

Aegis how can you remember all that crap? Image Since every Final Fantasy game changes the magic/equipment system I can never retain what anything does after I’ve passed a particular game. Image

The best materia, The Knights of the Round Table (or something like that), it is a long spell to use, but it does damage like nothing else.

bloody knights of the round

it was the only way to defeat ruby weapon, but it took 5 minutes a pop! gah.

oh, and remember to put the two together in linked slots - elemental magic materia linked to 'elemental'

There is an easier way to take the Ruby weapon out. First, kill off your other two members, and keep Cloud alive. There goes his physical attacks with the spike things. Then, equip Cliud completly with counter Materia. then, let Cloud be hit once, and watch Ruby weapon die. :D

Yeah. Got me the first time too.... You can do it with the Magic counter as well, as long as your MP holds out. Ever try countering with 6 consecutive Knights of the Round?

if there's a problem with magic points, use counter--mime and attack with KOTR. it should work in the same way for no MP drain?

LOL Kayless, remembering FF7 is nothing.

Try FF3 (6j), 7, 8, 10, Chrono Trigger, and Chrono Cross together (excluding PC RPGs, of course). Remembering the combo moves in CT is tough (but you gotta love Triple Kick and Twin Charm).

Okay, here's the challenge. Give me a question from any of those afore mentioned games (excluding Cross, which was utter garbage), and I bet I can answer it.

I just have two more question, from a friend of mine who has finished the game:
What do you think are the best 2 character to fight with in the end?
And can you bring Aeris back from the dead?

BTW, i'm currently in cosmo-canyon and I realy like this game
I do not have the touch, nor do I have the power.

2 best characters? i'm a cloud (obviously) fan, but i like cid and tifa

apparently, it was originally planned that you could resurrect aeris - the ghost thing in the church if you return to midgar being part of it - but it wasn't implemented due to time constraints. so no, you can't bring her back

Well, if the Euro version is similar to the North American version, it should be Kefka. The beings were called Espers.

FF3 isn't that hard to remember since it was so straightforward. But yeah, the others I confuse easily. Image

But you can see her again in FF Tactics.

As for Chrono Cross, give it a try and you will be surprized. The new tactics in it are some of the best to be implimented. No more getting a sword and wacking everything. You need to think ahead and try to keep the field in your attack color, while denying the other side the advantage of their color.
