damnable circles of zerthimon!

Post by makers »

I am a mage in the outlands with 21 int and 18 wisdom, but I can't seem to follow the conversation tree with Dakkon to learn even the first circle of zerthimon. Even time I try I end up with only two choices, that go something like "I haven't studied it enough yet" or "I'm still thinking about it." Shouldn't I have figured out at least the first circle by now?!?!

Do you have a sort of metallic flange from the first Circle of Zerthimon in your inventory? Read it. Then talk to Dak'kon about it. Do that with every successive circle.

No, I don't. How do I get that? I feel like I've explored every option on Dakkon's conversation tree about 50 times.

Try reading Dak'kon's Circle of Zerthimon again. Make sure you read it all the way through, then speak to Dak'kon.

@Sojourner, I think he's missing it from his inventory. Which is rather odd.

@Makers, see if there's a first circle of Zerthimon item in Dak'kon's inventory. If so, pull it into yours, and read it.

@Fable - Reading the Unbroken Circle of Zerthimon doesn't put the plates into your inventory - speaking to Dak'kon about what you have learned does. However, if you don't read each circle all the way through, the global which tracks what circles you have learned never gets incremented properly.

@makers - When you read each Circle, you must read it all the way through - click on *continue* until you get the dialog option to *finish* reading the Circle.

You cannot remove the Circle from Dak'kon's inventory - you have to read it from there :)

eehhh

im not sure of what you mean, i have never been able to read ANYTHING from the unbroken circle of Zerthimon!.. if it is wisdom from learning the language of the Githzerahi. Speak with a Gith in Sigil (by the rotting corpse). when you have Dark'kon in your party. And if you are intelligent enough and no not interrupt the to Gith males, you will learn the language of the Gith. And get the story about how Dark'kon became your unwilling slave!
