hey...

I am having a weird problem... some NCPs, Golems, etc... cannot (or will not) talk to me. I click on them and it says, "Unable to initiate dialoge, [enter name] appears busy." or something of that nature. The problem is when it happens to NCPs or characters crucial to the game such as the Sewage Golem in SoA and Errand in ToB. I have to talk to the Sewage Golem to get out of the dungeon. I also have to talk to Errand to complete that quest in ToB.

Why is this happening?
What can I do to stop/get around it?
Is there a patch?
Has anyone else had this problem?

BTW... I have tried sleeping and then talking to them later, going away and coming back... even talking to other people then coming back but nothing seems to work. Sometimes, a character will give you that line a few times, then you can get him/her to work after sleeping or something. Some characters, these two in particular, have not become 'unbusy' after resting, leaving, etc...

...thanks

I responded in your SoA topic. Please don't double post topics over multiple forums, as it is against the rules.

It is a common problem, esp. if you are running XP. The official patch fixes this, you can find the link to it in the Reference Crossroads thread in the SoA board.

I'm closing this topic. It's a double post. @Lothgad, you already posted this subject elsewhere. That's considered spamming by the site owner, and is generally impolite on forums. If you want an answer to a question, just choose a single category for your thread in the future.
