has anybody ever wondered what has happened to people who used to post here, but no longer do? i mean, why don't they post anymore? have they gotten bored with this site? have they found a better posting place? has their computer broken? have they gotten a new computer and forgot about us? have they just forgotten about us for no reason? did they beat all their games and decided they don't need us? have they been grounded from the computer? can they not pay for their internet connection? have they died? i dunno, what do you think?

You covered all the possible explanations there.

I'd say they just moved on.

Well for a start the old mods, flagg and deacon.

There are a few others when I used to lurk into SYM, however at the moment their names elude me.

Who specifically are we wondering about? Maybe some are undergoing "therapy".

Then their therapists should be joining soon. How long do you figure it'll take for them to drive their therapists insane?

Well, let's see... Brink left last summer, reappearing occasionally. Vehemence left last fall. DP left. Chrissy left. She was my favorite too..

As for those who have left, I've spotted Veh around on a few other boards.

what if they died and we didn't notice. i mean, say they commited suicide because they didn't have friends or because i made fun of them or something, and now, they're dead because of me and i didn't even know i did it or know that they're dead. what if it was you sailor, that killed them because you told them that they needed therapy?

Maybe they all got lives or something, what does happen to the SYMers, here comes one of my delightfully crazy ideas, perhaps something went wrong with their brains from to much SYM, and they started believing so much in the fantasy that their brains reshaped reality and entered into a whole nother universe, from which all their paranoid fantasies and psychotic desires would be made manifest thus effectively cutting themselves of from the reality we all think is real but is really a product of some deluded pot smoking SYMer in another universe.

Or it could be simply they actually got lives, both work I think. And some of your ideas sound good but I like mine better, of course the crazy psychotic murderous rampage does sound interesting, no no don't go giving old AN ideas it is simply to tempting to his poor deranged mind.

You forgot about the people who have been banned.

Even though Banned Baassie didn't survive long enough to make it to SYM...I still wonder what board he is terrorizing these days.

Yes, I was going to ask what happened to Baassie. What did he do that was so terrible? And does anyone remember that guy who insisted he'd found a halfling in the Underdark who enjoyed rubbing [poo] into his face? Or maybe it would be good not to talk about it

As for the Poo man..didn't he live in the cellar? If I recall correctly...he lived in the cellar and was a Halfing.
