Get Opera - it's a really fast good browser. Apart from that, have you got all the Service Packs etc.? And what OS are you running? I hate IE so I probably won't be all that much help

I need Internet Explorer as my dialup service only lets me use it.

I am running Win 98 and as far as I know I have everything updated...

Have you got any other software running in the background like messanger or something?

If this was an IE error only, it would be an error in IEXPLORE. Explorer is the whole Windows shell program, so this suggests something deeper related to Windows in general. Do you get any other Explorer errors when anything else runs?

Re: Re: Lousy Internet Explorer...
@ Sleepy, I have programs running in the Systray, but I also have programs running that are shown when I CTRL, ALT & DEL.
@ Kam, as far as I know, no. I rarely get any errors with this system...

ftapp.dll is part of a piece of spyware called FlashTrack. Most virus scanners and firewalls should pick it up as a potential security threat though.
FlashTrack provide an uninstall program to get rid of it.

This started out as a hobby, but someone decided to actually pay me for knowing this stuff!
@Kameleon: Ummm, no. Definitely a guy.

If you click the "quote" button at the bottom right of someones post, you will get a reply box but with the persons whole post already in it. You can then see the correct vB codes for doing the italics, bolds and quotes. Try out the vB buttons above the reply box - they do so many
different things

Ah, maybe I can help you with this one.To get a whole quote from someone you need to hit the quote button underneath the post you wish to quote.

Cool, Mr F.
BTW, I love this software I installed called Ad Aware. It detects all spyware, and allows you to remove it from your system. I do it every day, and I swear, every single day doubleclick has put a cookie in my PC!
Anyway, here's the link to download it if you want (it's free):
