Well I figure since everybody else is doing it I might as well get in on all the action, For many years I have wanted to rule the world, and don't deny it some you also have that pernicious need for world domination, or in the case of our dear Saturn simply to destroy it, either way why do people want to rule the world, is it a need to compensate for innate inadequacies in their lives, or is it something deeper, in any case this is not a forum for all that frilly poopy, I simply want to know why you want to rule the world and why, and if you don't want to rule the world you little sissy girl or boy, tell me why, Seems SYM is the perfect breeding ground for megalomania, please don't prove me wrong.

I do and i will be teh best at it.

Could everyone stop with pointless polls, it is something i was proud of that we avoided having too many polls, but the recent slew have been somewhat pointless.

There are two options, make the poll interesting or avoid a poll and make an interesting thread instead.

This is not a warning merely a bit of friendly advice at worst a request.

But pointless polls are so fun, so completely inane and counterproductive, why isn't it already important it describes the megalomaniac in all of us, about how we all really want to rule the world, about the common ground we all share, and how deep down inside we are really the same, just share in the harmony of world domination.

Besides apparenly most people want me to rule the world, hmm didn't know you all had that much confidence in my mad bid for power.

I was wondering why no one had done it before.

@ABN, If the polls become too largely used and overly derivitive i will just close them down, i have no problem with spam threads, but a whole thread for a poll seems excessive. As Alienbob's sig says "Don't be a sheep...." just because everyone else is doing it doesn't make it entertaining or good.

And yes if everyone else was jumping of the cliff I would do it.

I hadn't noticed the many polls, but then I haven't really been around lately...

Anyway, yes, I chose someone else to rule the world, by sucking up the ruler I assume one can then get free islands in the carribean or other presents

I'd hate to see this place turn into other boards I've visited where polls - meaningless polls ruled the board.
This will be one of the few things that would drive me from SYM.

Okay how about we all agree to all stop polls which have absolutely no point, or at least not many of them, and everybody else start first.

I think the mods are pretty much on the same page here.
None of us wants to see these polls get out of hand. In the future they will be treated the same as other nonrelevant spam.
