As I imagine MANY were inspired to after reading Two's lovely post here I also picked up a solo Blade to do my first time through ToB no deaths no reloads. Well, its decent enough, died 5 times and have done everything except abzagail (yeah I know thats wrong) and THATS where the problem comes in. I just layed it down on draconis with little trouble BUT then I enter the lair and what do i see? A adorable lesser earth elemental which could barely bruise my shin and a "greater" wyvern. Well I could not help but laugh thinking it was a poor welcoming defense for a dragon! But I was wrong. I still had improved haste + tensors on from draconis (and since I creamed him with just these 2 spells I didnt think the wyvern stood a chance). Anyway I layed into the great wyvern doing a good 20-30 damage a shot hitting 4 out of 6 times but it was not moving past Barley Injured! So i ran like a little school girl hoping he would follow me outside into my awaiting "saftey" cache of 3 spike traps in case I ran into a situation like this but he did not come. So instead I come to this forum asking how to beat this mofo one-on-one. THANKS!

I havent made it that far, but the versus cheat guide states there be were wyverns in this lair. since were wolves have incredible regen powers, could the little beasty be regenerating?

Oh, and have you got the silver sword?

I already knew he was regnenerating Thats not the problem, the problem is how to KILL it. I have killed Greater Werewolves many times and had little problem but this guy SEEMS to regen at like 30hp a round at least.

sometimes enemies get invincible. Happened to kangaxx with me once. Just load and try again and it should be fine.
