What wuould it happen if...?

I just started ToB yesterday. But I don't wanna carry on until these doubts I have have been cleared:
1. What is Jaheira's Lovetalk rating at the start of ToB? Or what must it be for the romance to run without bugs or loops?
2. Does changing into the slayer affect the Jaheira romance?
3. Sarevok is a chaotic evil character, so, Will he leave the party because I have a rep of 20?

sorry, krusader, my ribbing of knight errant and other paladin goody goodys is well known...
peculiar, since my kensai sorc uses holy avenger...giggle...
1)if you have not finished soa so jahirea romace active is set to 2, you will not get any romance in tob. you have to seduce her before entering tob...
2)no only rep. this is a good thing, if you have evil chaars in party, this will allow you to keep rep at optimal 16 or so.
3)no, but not 100% sure. savvy I think cant leave if you geas him, but
hint, hint,
be nice to him and dont geas him and be kind and considerate to your brother all the time, even when you want to whack him, and you will get a nice surprise...

Damn! I've already geased him! No prob, since I just started I only have to start again.
Do you recomend using Imoen to restore him or giving a part of your own soul?
As for Jaheira, in SoA I slept with her but Terminsel never appeared, because thanks to bugs and loops, the romance was finished in Chapter seven. After the "challenge room" in hell, the first love talk appeared so I think that all is fine but since this romance have been so buggy I have my doubts. What do you think? BTW in the final save the romance active was set to 2.

oops, sorry....
krusader, you should be ok, as long as romance terminated sucessfully, you did not piss her off...you will go out with her in tob...
warning, jaheira is by far the funnest lady in soa, but quite boring in tob. aerie and viccy have much more interesting dialogs.
does not matter who gives a part of savvys soul, neither you nor immie will notice any dfference...
oh yeah, obsidean, did I mention my new expoit in tob? well, while using holy avenger a lot, I realized I was whacking more creatures with poisoned holy avenger than casting spells. so i decided, ok, I will whack savvy in blind rage and get the str bonus. now I am evil!! going around faerun with holy avnger +6...sometimes I torment my imp familiar for fun...hahahahah!!!

As long as JaheiraRomanceActive is set to 2, Jaheira's romance continues in ToB. The local variable ExpLoveTalk is used instead of LoveTalk in ToB.

I'd recommend having Imoen give her soul, you'll get some funny Dialouges if you do, Hint hint.

Note also that it doesn't matter whether or not you geas Sarevok. I did in all of my games, and provided you treat him with a little civility and respect, he'll still shift gears on you when the time comes.
Man, I wish I could play ToB over again for the first time...

The lovetalk rating is responsible for the love dialogs you get from NPC towards your main character. If you're main character is male you can romance Jaheira, Viconia, Aerie... If your MC is female you only get Anomen.
You can check it out via console codes. Do this:
In order to use these codes, you must first edit the Baldur.ini file located in your BG2 directory. Under the Program options heading add the line "Debug Mode=1" (without the quotes). You will then be able to open the console during the game, which will allow you to enter the cheat codes. To open the console while playing, press CTRL+SPACE.
CLUAConsole:GetGlobal("Lovetalk","LOCALS") - Chect your love talk rating with a given character. You must have your mouse pointer over that character's portrait to use this.
This for BG2:SoA. I'm not sure it works the same in ToB, because I've gotten three love dialogs from Jaheira and the Lovetalk Rating is still set at 70. Any ideas, anyone?

Krusader: As Sojourner already stated, ToB uses ExpLoveTalk instead of LoveTalk to control the romance dialogues.

Supposedly the bugs were fixed in TOB, I've only played that romance through a couple of times but I had no problems with it.

How many dialogues are in the Jaheira romance in ToB?
What is the highest level of the ExpLoveTalk variable?
The last dialogue I got was in Watcher's Keep, after finishing the second level. I finished WK, went to Amkhetran, finished Sendai's Enclave and I'm currently in Abazigail's Lair and yet I haven't got another dialogue.
The ExpLoveTalk value is set currently at 13?
I'm wondering if I'll be able to finish the romance before the game is over...
