Killed Lothar, anyone?

I have tried and tried in my four times thru PS: T and never once managed to beat that guy (he's the mage who kidnapped Morte).
The last attempt, where I was a lvl 23 mage prior to entering the fortress of regrets, I unleashed all the lvl 8 & 9 spells that I have on him (Mechanus Cannon, Stygian Storm, Power: Blind, etc) and he still creamed me! Much tougher than the fiend in Moridor's Box.
So has anyone in this forum done it?

You cannot kill him.
Although I have done it by cheating.

Nope, like Morte says,
"Do NOT offend this blood, boss... he'll dead-book you faster than you can spit."
The designers definitely don't want you to kill this guy.

He also has rather a cool beard
His character is very interesting, they should have made more of him, i really like his style

I would like to *know* how you go about cheating his death. Did you gain any xp out of it? I didn't think cheating was possible with PS: T -- I heard that Torment hacking editors didn't work too well

-unzip the attached file into Torment's override directory
-load up a game
-stand next to the person you want to die
-make sure Party AI is on
-hit Y on your keyboard.
Killing Lothar sometimes gives you unlimited experience.
