According to Demis, collectively, we've hit a milestone. He pointed out in this thread that I posted post 1,000,000 of the SYM forum. This is certainly a cause to celebrate as literally, I could not have done it without you. Maybe I don't need my SPAM-MAN pants after all to hit 2800 posts in a week. Perhaps it is going to my head.

Anyway, 1,000,000 posts collectively is pretty cool, almost incomprehensible. As BS is happy to point out, LET'S PARTY. Of course, everyone is welcome.

Pulls the beer truck up and unloads for the big celebration.

Maybe buck will show up.

Tells BS, "We're going to need another beer truck."

Hey, politicians do it all the time, only with speeches instead of posts, so it obviously can't be too difficult.

That's a scary thought, though not as scary as the idea of a government being run by SYMers.

My intention was to say that if the politicians can do it, it certainly can't be too difficult for a SYMer.

Definitely a milestone worth celebrating =)... and just to reiterate what Demis pointed out, it's one hundred thousand posts - not a million.

However, Speak Your Mind should actually be at about 125,000 posts. Many of you will remember that due to the slow-moving bulletin board we used to use, I was forced to prune about 25,000 posts from it. We were over 100,000 posts several months ago already.

100,000 only!! Damnit, no beer truck then.

But I'm sure it at least merits a few kegs eh?

In all the time I've been here, never, and from what I've heard, ya'll never needed an excuse before then either.
