Hi, I'm looking for the red dragon f something... (i've heard it a million times). Where is he located? id like that sword

Go to Windspear Hills. It looks like a nice place to find a dragon. But they're often living in a nice cave... maybe they have guards to.

Speak to Lord Jierdan Firkraag in the Copper Coronet and do as he says... i wont spoil anything
