Fully 3E? Maybe.

J.E. Sawyer on the official site has made a post asking a “very hypothetical” question to fans: Would you like it if the game was fully 3rd Edition? Meaning, no more kits and full 3E multi-classing ability as well as a limited number (20-30) of feats included.
For now, the overall response seems to be a resounding “yes!” from the board members. Sounds great to me too I have to say. I much prefer a clean version than some kind of 2E-3E hybrid.

Yep. I hope it goes full 3E too.
That way you can customize your character(s) with their skills, exactly the way you want them to be.

Yea, full-blown 3E sounds better than the 2E/3E hybrid they were proposing.

This is a 2d top down look game. I think there is no climbing.
Skill that could be used : hide, silent move, open locks, find/disable traps, concentration(for spellcasters), scry(?), ...,
thing like that. Skills like intimidate, knowledge, use rope(?), well, i don't think that you can use them. Just a thought.

Climb and use rope could be used to access certain areas of the game, rather than using stairs.

They've stated that, most probably, the skills and feats that would make it in are more of the combat variety than things like meta magic and such. Also, I highly doubt that climbing of any sort would make it in, since they are really pusing for a 'quick fix' to time with their release schedule.
