Ok, here it is, inspired by Ned.

There are several reasons to keep the tavern open. The most important being that it is a known hangout of myself and as such serves as a way for any members of this board to easily avoid me....somewhat.

Also, shutting down the tavern would cause several animals to become suddenly homeless, and furthermore, would leave me with a greater amount of free time with which to roam the board freely in search of women to hit on.

Plus, I don't wanna go back to drinking in the gutter.

Hey! I know what it's like to have a bar thread closed do you remember 'Breathing Space'? well that pub spawned the equally busy and massly frequented 'More Breathing Room' which was also closed due to riotous behaviour. Never-the-less, a third pub 'New Pair Of Lungs' was opened on the site of the previous razed building Hmmm....I must check back and find out how many posts those three consequetive bars amassed!

Hey Man,

I came here looking for a petition to sign (turns it there is one, I didn't even know it when I said it but petitions are cool time wasters and methods for people to think they belong to something...). Anyway, has anyone seen a petition. I'd like to sign it and stuff but I can't find it. I've even got a pen. Whatever man.

I just wanna say that it seems closing the tavern is like, totally, a double edged sword and all that. I mean, if no one shows up, we get the tavern closed cuz there's like no business. The number of posts has been pretty weak at the tavern during recent weeks, however, if business picks up, the tavern is going to close because it is like, totally, getting to big.

So like, whatever man, let's just build an ark and move the animals (and my still!) and we'll take our tavern on the high sees. It can be Bloodstalker's Superfly pimp of the high seas floating mass of consumption. I don't know, I'm rambling.

Anyone seen a petition to sign.

An looks at the petition to save the famous Tavern of Neutrality, wonders if he signs if there is a free beer in it. Then notices the long line behind the petition and realizes that yup there is a free beer in it. So AN signs the petition.
