Hi,

My friend and I recently tried to play a multiplayer game of Baldurs Gate II. We both have downloaded the most recent patch and single player works fine for both of us. We tried to connect via tcp-ip for multiplayer but when it gets to the final loading screen, my friends computer says, "Please put Baldurs Gate II Disk II in drive M." The problem is, my friend doesn't have a drive M. He has an A, C, D, and E. He went to "My computer" and the computer recognized the CD was in drive E. (his Cd-rom drive) Even the autoplay loads up etc. The only time it says please put in Disc II, is for the final loading phase of the TCP-IP of multiplayer.
We tried to play a modem game next. When he tried to call me, the numbers dialed...but nothing else. My phone didnt ring. (I was "waiting for caller". When I tried to call him with the modem, the phone just kept on ringing, and his modem didn't pick it up.
Any help at all would be VERY appreciated, thank you very much,

Chris

Have you tried playing using IPX instead? If you are using a LAN then you might have to install it.

Go to www.Gamespy.com and download the 'trial' version. This is, in fact, a full version (shareware) but there is no $20 fee. The $20 fee is for member priviledges such as no pop up ads :) then play over the internet...

hmm...if the link doesn't work, just write the address into your browser...
