Has anyone partaken in them? Snowboarding or maybe some of the more strange things they do on Jackass (the TV show).
Any funny stories about your endeavours?

Last year my girlfriend went to a cave exploration / rapel / camping trip and loved it. Then 6 months later she convinced me to go along with her. After 4 hours climbing down a cliff, walking on cold water waist high and bruising myself against the rocks, I asked "What now?" and the guide said "We climb back up". I think I upset quite a few people in the group with my comment "And to think I could be doing something productive on those last 4 hours".
I think these kind of "adventure" sports are only enjoyable if you had an indoor childhood. If you climbed walls and trees after missing soccer balls, played hide´n´seek in abandomned construction sites and such you can pass the oportunity.

Skateboarding? Luging? Skeleton-ing? Do you consider those extreme sports? Then yes i have done them, the three above. Luging was quite fun but required soem cash for the suit the guy i rented from ripped me off like hell. Skelton-ing is VERY scary, u face forward as u go down a big hill, and well u get it. Skateboarding is kinda normal nowadays but verts are fun.

I don't really like the word "extreme sports" for what I've been doing, but I suppose it would be classified as such.
I spent many years doing alpine climbing, I quit when I started work a lot because I didn't have time to train as much as you have to, and I also had some knee injuries. Alpine climbing differs very much from "sports climbing" or rock climbing - you use a minimum of equipment, and the aim is to reach a summit, you don't do technical wall climbs and such. To me, climbing was mostly about experiencing nature and see spectacular scenery.
I have also been doing hang gliding, paragliding and skydiving. Free falling is a very nice experience, hang gliding is very fun whereas paragliding is more relaxing, more peaceful.
I've also done some sea kayaking, it can be very peaceful or it can be a real challenge depending on weather and size of waves.
I have lots of stories from the different expeditions I've made, too many to tell, but one of my favorites is when I was kayaking off the West coast of Greenland and managed to tilt an iceberg. Very stupid, I am very lucky to be alive now

Another nice story is when a fin whale decided to make friends with our boat

I've also made some really spectacular climbs, for example one into the crater of an active vulcano that erupted just 2 months previously.
However, nowadays I don't do any real climbing apart from a little free climb if needed - hiking in the mountains are much better for my bad knees

I still have a paraglider, but I seldom have time to use it, unfortunately

Hopefully, I'll be able to get away to some hilly place this summer.

I once took on a sea of mogul fields in Kitzbuhl

Before you get too impressed, it was not intentional - I took a wrong turn

Never-the-less, I did manage to stay upright, and somewhat intact by the time I reached the bottom!

My knees ached for days though...
I did the hanenkamp (sp) too - though not in the downhill racer less than two minutes time ...it took me 20 minutes, side slipping the areas normally jumped!

Does walking up the stairs to my house while staggering drunk count?
I have also scaled the side of a hotel while I was drunk. it's a long story.
