Bubble Wrap®

"Some say...Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. We're flattered!
But the fact is that Bubble Wrap®, a registered trademark of Sealed Air, is often used incorrectly to describe all air cellular cushioning material. As a trademark, Bubble Wrap® only describes Sealed Air® air cellular cushioning material.
The Bubble Wrap® brand provides the assurance of quality and performance in bubble cushioning offered only by Sealed Air. Bubble Wrap® protective packaging employs a "barrier layer" which retains air...providing superior, longer lasting protection over other brands.
For maximum value specify Bubble Wrap® cushioning from Sealed Air. Ask for the best and accept nothing less."
I found that information at the Sealed Air Corporation's website.

ROFL!!!
That's a gooder!
One of my friends bought like 100sq meters of the stuff. We spent days popping it untilly we finnaly got the great idea to get a huge section of it, weigh it to the road with rocks, then drive a car over it! Omg that was cool sounding!
Of course, this was done late at night,
or early in the morning depeding on how you look at it

Another mystery of life solved, I am so glad I read this thread. Otherwise I would never have known about Sealed Air. I would have spent my life in ignorance. I shudder at the thought of the potiential horror my life could have been without this knowledge.
As a kind of non-sequitur, my cat was found wrapped up in bubble wrap, in a cardboard box, in a dumpster, when she was just a 4 week-old kitten. I personally belive the deprivation of oxygen to her brain explains a lot about her behavior.
Speaking of dumpster, did you know: "Dumpster" is also actually a name brand. Not every garbage containment unit is in fact a Dumpster. It's true.
Something akin, I imagine, to the Kleenex phenomenon. Another name brand that has been carelessly tossed around, such that every average, poor-quality, run-of-the-mill, even GENERIC *gasp!* tissues are called "kleenex." The horror

I think they ought to round up everyone who's ever trampled upon copyrights and trademarks in this fashion and clap them in jail! That's what I think!!
*the men in clean white coats come to haul Der-draigen away*

@Witchking Your presence is gruesome and gives me nausea, but was I complaining?
@Aegis It depends on your perspective, I would think

Another qualitative gem from the home office in Angmar.
For me, it is Aegis himself that gives me the shivers, but your mileage may vary.

Is that gives you the shivers in a good way or a bad way? What exactly does Aegis have to do to give you the shivers?

Inquiring minds want to know...
