Yesterday our prins Willem married Máxima Zorreguieta.

I was wondering how mutch this news goes around the world, have people from America seen anything about it? Here in Holland it's all the news talk about .

And what do you think about the father of Máxima Zorreguieta, who has done some very nasty things in in Argentinia. Or have you never heard of him before?

Any other thoughts are welcome as well off cource.

I think I did read something about it but I haven't been keeping track of the news lately.

Yes our entire country is insane, you'd think there are more important things to cover this extensively, but no.

My opinion about Zorreguieta, that's her father, you cannot be held responsible for your parents actions. And just because he's a prick, doesn't mean he shouldn't be allowed to attend his daughter wedding. If only for her sake, she is the wife of the future King. She's sacrificing a lot to marry him, I think he should have been there.

And Rob-hin I think nobody cares the Argentians have more important matters to attend to and the rest of the world couldn't care less who the icon of such a smal nation marries with. Well I wouldn't care.

Well, I'm wondering if this is a item in American TV for example.

So perhaps it did get some coverage in the US.

CNN is world wide , I'm talking US only.

Well, CNN also, but what I mean is... I can see CNN. But what do in countries, do they ignore it or whatever?

I heard that the UN loved it because they don't have royalty. But I doulbt it.

And are there people here that really don't like royalty etc. or think it's nice?

Can't say I heard it mentioned once on the US media, but I heard it frequently mentioned on Radio Nederland, which I listen to regularly. They even a 30 minute feature on Willem's family, and how closely it's been involved with matters of historical importance in Holland. Of course, that's going to happen when you hold a throne for a very long time, too.

I think i saw it at the end of the local news, but right now Enron is far more important.

@Thorin: Does heaven have it's own news channel, or do you tune in to one of the more earthly ones?

Some of the earthly ones are nice too.
obviously being god and ruling over the whole universe and beyond i can't spend all my time on Earth watching news. Don't always see everything.
