first party through SoA and ToB

I just got ToB a few days ago and I'm thinking on what party to take with me.
I think that according to my playing style, I'll need 1 fighter, 1 cleric, 1 archer, 2 mages and a bard as a backup char. My thief will be Imoen, cuz i can live without a thief untill i'll get her back. So my party will be:

Me, an Elven Archer, using crossbow (they are cooler then bows), * in halberd for melee.
Edwin, the funniest char in the game AND the best mage.
Korgan, my main tank, using crom and a good axe.
Jaheira. I will change her with SK to a ranger, then dual her to a cleric at level 9. she has tons of cleric spells, high level Turn Undead cuz she's not a multi, and Druid spells. She is also my romance cuz i think the romance is a very important to the story by adding alot of depth into it. She will use maces and flails, mostly FoA and DoE.
HearDalis, for 3 reasons: He has the coolest personality, blades are cool, and he is a great backup char for my party. I'll use him mostly for fighting, cuz i know how to do it from my solo blade.
And finally, imoen when ill get her back.

What i like the most about this party is its mixed alignments - two good char (me and imoen) two natural (jah and HD) and two evil (edwin and korgy), which will cause many funny dialogues, a very important thing for me.

What do you think about this party?
Suited for ToB?
What are it's advantages and disadvantages?
Any help is welcome.

Don;t chance jaheira, she's good as she is (you'll see as soon as she's level 14 and using the staff of ram)
Is a good party,
nice balanced......
You should be able to manage to get through the game!
Maybe you could switch HearDalis in ToB for the new NPC........

@Alson, please don't double-post a topic and first message when you don't get a response after an hour. That fills up the board, forcing other good posts off the main page, and makes it harder for people to read a main topic. Thanks.

I've deleted your other, identical topic.
