Playing ToB with Baldurdash Bugfix (spoilers included)

Ok, I'm starting this topic for all those people who are playing BG2 with ToB installed and the bugfix from Baldurdash. Post any problems you encountered with the game.
So far, I'm only in Chapter 2 - been doing some of the side quest, the only thing that I've found was that sometimes you have to wait for about 15 or so seconds when entering a new area. The map loads, you see your party standing there, but you can't do anything for a while.

I also have to wait for 15 seconds for the map to load, but I don't have any bugfixes.
But when it is loaded it runs like hell, the game goos so smooth.

Thanks Tiax for pointing that out, so we can now say that it's ToB that's making the loading thing, not the bugfix. So that means there are no problems yet.
So I'll like to add that if anyone is experiencing any of the problems that have been posted and does not have any of Baldurdash bugfix installed. Please post to let us (I'm using 'us' to include others who are playing with bugfix) know that it's not the bugfix that's causing it. Thanks for your help.

Have only had one problem so far, and it was a non repeater. First time I played with bug fixes and happy party option3, I wanta sleep with all the girls,
Ireenicus did not verbalizes
"Time for more experiments"
in the intro.
I am possibly the only one playing happy party with get all the girls option enabled.
also have deleted clck26 and wa2robe for the cloak of mirrors and nicer looking robe of vecna.
New areas take slightly longer to load than I remembered soa with tob installed, but I am wondering if its just creating the files in cache data

Update: I've finished all of the quests within the city, not NPCs quest though. So far there are no major problems with the game. One thing that I've found however, was that sometimes dialogues occur as if you're still in the area. While seeing the fight between the vampire and the Shadow Thieves, I went into the nearest building. After a while the dialogue box appear and the game screen went back to where the vampire was, nothing really major, just a bit weird.
I've also tested the "enemy following you to new area, causing duplicates to appear" thing that many people have reported. It worked fine for me, the guy followed me out of the room; I went back in, the room was empty, went back out and there he still is.
Edit - the dialogue thing only happened once so far, so I'm not really sure about the nature of the bug or that it might be a minor glitch with my system.

I am currently playing A female elf, and installed happy script 4.5, the concurrent romaces install. (no dirty jokes please! I just can't stand the male voices! I also don't have a problem with identifying with the protagonist.) Anyway, the viccy romance seems to be broken. Sabre has helped me extensively, in fact he even sent me a update to 4.4 within 8 hours of my e-mailing him, would that bioware was as nice
but even after testing and trying stuff out I am beginning to suspect my install is bad. The lovetalk var is not advancing, and I have not had a bhaal dream yet, though I have rested 3 times. Sigh, I think should reinstall, and retry happy script. Anyway, sabre might try happy script with his balderdash patched install.
Well, I just thought of soemthing. I'll try a male human and rerun the game, after I rest several more times in my current game. If I get a bhall dream, then I think I might actually have a good install. Trying a male human should set the viconiamatch var and checkviconiamatch var correctly from the onset, and hopefully get everything working correctly and the lovetalk vars advancing.
sigh, I am just really interested in the aerie/jaheira/viccy interaction, and I get really tired of the whining from evil chars when I have a nice rep. Now I have to listen to the really bad male voices in the game.

This have nothing to do with the tesing, but a note to those who are wondering about Happy Script v4-5 - this is only a trial version that I created because of the problems UserUnfriendly brought up, unfortunately it didn't seem to fix it either. Oh well, I'll start another game and test them out - both the current newest (v4-4), and the trial (v4-5) if I find problems with the current one.

Yes, I am anal retentive.
This is good because in real life I am a CNE and CCNA

Howdy. Been a while... I've just been confining myself to one board while I relaxed and enjoyed Throne OF Bhaal finishing Elmonster's adventures and scribbling over 300K of journal. It was a great relaxer and a badly needed one.
You will definitely encounter ToB problems with the full fix set. Most of them involve things not appearing or effects not happening when they are supposed to. With all of them installed: Demogorgon may not appear, Lum's machine and the Deck Of Many Things may do nothing. There were also some engine changes in the way that DLG files are parsed that caused one of my little "tricks" for nullifying a character's dialog to not work properly anymore.
I got to work on ToB fixes a couple of days ago and fixed seven new bugs so far that the patch did not address. When I have a few more, I am going to import all the SoA fixes that I know to be compatible, playtest through a complete runthrough and release a Throne Of Bhaal FixPack on an appropriate new Baldurdash page. You can expect to see he first Throne Of Bhaal FixPack and individual fixes up this weekend.
So keep finding and reporting them and I will continue to do what I can.

Kevin.....
on my cue, all BOW BEFORE HIM!
Better than Bioware, and easier to talk to!!!!
Well, I'm going to blow my partition and install soa, tob and patch in anticipation of a Kevin masterpeice! I had far, far less problems with balderdash fixes in so than from biowar's official patch, and I really missed that smooth sense of reliability.

Thanks Stoner Cold for pointing out the dialogue problem. Kevin, since most of the problems you said are directly related to the ToB, I'm going to start a new ToB game to see if I encounter them - since I had to reinstall and lost my savegame; good luck with the fixes.

Thanks for the support. And here I thought I'd get cold-shouldered for not dropping by in so long. Hah! Optimists are never pleasantly surprised, it is said...
I will definitely try to release ToB FixPack 1.0 this weekend. I have enough of them now to warrant one, and haven't started with the imports yet.

@Kevin, I think we all knew you needed time to play the game--you told us so, yourself. And you've practically become a hero to everybody here. Maybe we should create a paladin order of developers named after you.

Kevin, you're right. I've just finished Watcher's Keep: Lum the Mad machine did nothing, except for giving you the weapon and openning the portal; the Demogorgon doesn't appear - I used CLUAConsole to spawn him manually; I'm not too sure about the Deck of Many Thing though, because I only played one game.
Other than those, the game's fine.
Edit - Since this was the last post in the thread, I didn't want to make a new one. I've just finished Throne of Bhaal, and did not encounter any more problems with the game, everything was fine - I did all of the side quests as well. So it seems that the bugfix only stuff up things in Watcher's Keep and not the actual ToB story line.
