How does one get those additional portraits?

I find those portraits of these NPC's cool enough to use them (Balthazar, Illasera, Melissan, Yaga-Sura, Gromnir, etc.) for my own pc's.

How do I get to add them for my customized portraits?

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there are only small versions of these (which is stupid, too, cause they ought to be painted in the same manner as the rest of the portraits). You can change to the small portrait by using ShadowKeeper.

Thanks for the tip, Anfalas!

Yeah, it's such a shame, and downright ridiculous too, that they got only the smaller version and not the bigger ones.

I wished too that they would give us a wider range of portraits using the same original artist.

They don't even have a pix for female dwarves... :p

Anfalas? My name is Anfalas? ;)

Yes, more portraits of the same artist would *really* be great. I for one want my PC portrait to be in the same style as the rest of my party and then the choises aren't to many, especially if you absolutely want certain NPCs in your party.

As for female dwarves, in 2:nd Ed these are supposed to look like male dwarves (giving you only Korgan if you don't want to use the protraits from BG1). This is fortunately changed in 3:d Ed, though, where females really *are* females.

Oooopppsss... sorry about that, ASTAFAS :o (that's what I get for posting in the middle of work --- slacking :p )

Say, is that name nordic or something?

Anyway, I think that the artist did a great job. Quite realistic too in a way, if I may say so myself.

In fact, one of the pix there looks so much like this female mage protagonist in the "Dungeons and Dragons, the Movie." The one with the maroon robes and the sweet angelic smilie. :D

I didn't get to appreciate much about using the extra pix provided by ironworks for the game. Using them would look kinda out of place in the interface with the obvious inconsistency of the various artists' style. :(

At any rate, I DO hope that bioware would at least give us some more of their artist's work with more varied classes and races.

IMO, the IWD portraits are better.

Well, the alternative would be giving all your NPCs custom portraits as well. ;)

To late, I'm afraid. I've played so much with all NPCs that I could never use other portraits for them. And I cannot take many of theirs for my own PC, either. In fact, the only portraits I use nowadays are those of H'D and Edwin, since I've played a lot with these already from start and connect them with my differnt PCs rather then their respective NPCs. But since I now play a lot with Edwin, too, that portrait will soon be out of the question, I guess.

The ICWDale portaits are cool... very stylish, not just a single face. But I do'n like it when to people have the same portraits...
