Cant believe this.. Slayer bug

So i was going to try turning into slayer, but when i was to do it it the only option i got was something like "no it wont have me"
and i failed.. I was lookingg forward trying it the first time.. I have Ascension installed and maxed out exp, and is just going to fight yagashura.
