Can anyone tell me if the game limits fighter to just one use per day of this ability...i wanted to give Mazzy a second one but it's greyed out on the "level up/abilities" screen.

Just love the idea of a half-pint sending maraliths skating down the cobble stones...oh, and smite saved my bacon when party was caught by some mindflayers unawares..

Yes, there is a limit, you can only select Smite once for any fighter, so you can only use it once per day.

Of course it /does/ last 2 rounds, right? Why not use greater whirlwind with it. Get more smite for the buck!

That's odd... my current character, a slightly edited archer (gave him Use Any Item so he could wear the Elven chain mails), has managed to get Smite twice.
