The Statue in temple ruins has something in his eye (when you press tab you can see that something is there.) But when i place my cursor over him i get a blue circle that indicade that i can speak with him. how can i look at what is in his eye?

heh its an old trick just move the window and move it around untill the talk thing no long pop up then u should be able to loot it

Dousn't work for me cause the item is right in the middle of the talk thing.

You're all talking about the Temple of Amaunator, right? That "thing" in the statue's eye is merely a trap set to go off IF you answer incorrectly when you take the test for the ritual or whatever.

AFAIK there is nothing to loot...you must pass the test to get the section of holy symbol, you can't pickpocket it.

How do you know that?

Well, it's a guess, I guess.

But i couldn't disarm it (shows up red), couldn't pickpocket, couldn't pick locks...the only thing you can do is talk to it. (Actually, i don't know if i tried to attack it...)

And i do know the consequences of answering incorrectly on the tests of faith (pain!). So it would seem that the little portion of the statue that appears as an item, then as a trap if you detect traps, is there just so you can get blasted if you screw up the dialog where you answer the questions about the 3 rituals.

But of course i *could* be wrong, , so go ahead and keep trying but please post again if you find something i missed.

you can grab something it isn't just for answering , I don't remember what you get but i know that you get something
