Final Ascension battle (with mod)

Is it just me, or are some of the members of the Five you fight in the final Ascension battle immune to Imprisonment? I've tried using it on several of them...one time I even had the spell bounce back to me! (doh) Do these Five just have uber-special abilities? Does anyone know which of the Five are immune to Imprisonment? Thanks in advance for any help.
