I found two demon hearts in Watcher's Keep. Am I supposed to do something with these? Also, is it worth fighting the dragon in watcher's keep (would it be considered evil or good if you kill it)?

spoiler?
if u mean that proud dragon on lums level, didnt seem to make any diference with both my evil and good party. and his corpse doesnt give u anything except xp.
the 2 demon hearts from the demon clan bosses ? with my evil party i got the option from one of demons to kill the other side for a reward. with my good party i got attacked (he didnt trust my goody-two-shoeness). not sure if the option depends on alignment or reputation.

You need to fight the dragon if you want the staff of the ram. Most damaging weapon in the game imo.

About the demon hearts...
One of the demon leaders made a proposition to me (Chaotic Good Ranger/Cleric) about killing the other one. The other would only attack me on sight. When I killed the first and took its heart to the other, he would thank me instead of attack.

Isn't it a bit strange that the demon leaves its heart there. Supposedly you don't kill it you only banish it to its native plane.

I know this topic is old but i believe i have the answer to why the demons or devils attack you in the Watcher's Keep maze. In one room you will find a couple of cornugons battling a balor. They will ignore you and let you pass but if you jump into the fray and attack any one, then you have joined the "blood war" and the head honchos in the later rooms will smell it on you. By not attacking any of the batting beasties in that first room, my party was able to peaceably talk to either encampment when we met them later. Have only played ToB once with a neatral leading a mostly evil party, so i can't say for sure that alignment has nothing to do with reactions towards your party. But i suspect it has more to do with whether or not you bloodied your swords/axes whatever on those cornugons or the balor in the earlier room.

Aegnor is exactly right. I guess an involvement in the Blood War doesn't depend on your alignment - my protagonist (cavalier, lawful good, of course) received the same offer from that lawful evil demons. On the other hand it's possible that lawful character is only allowed to side with the the demons from Baator, while a choatic protagonist must ally with the Tanar'ri. IMO, it's improbable. Would the demons pay so much attention to mortals - and would the game designers spend so much time on this little encouter?

I encountered the lawful demon first and was attacked immediatley. I think Aegnor is right about the demons in the first room. If you don't attack them the Lawful demon will make a deal with you. Bring him the chaotic demon's heart for a nice item.
