Anyone proficient with the Shadow Keeper editor?

So basically I've got this slightly complicated request. Apparently, my Paladin PC commited a heineous act when gathering the Tears of Bhaal to battle Irenicus, and now her alignment is fixed to Neutral Evil. I have tried to remedy this by using the Shadow Keeper editor, but when I open the save game file, it reads Lawful Good! Now we're at it, I'd also very much like to replace the +15 hit points bonus to the +2 saving throw bonus (I killed the "Blackrazor Djinni" instead of sparing the poor chap).

Of course, your immediate response may be that I should simply load a previous save, but the thing is, I've overriden all previous saves with saves that feature the unfortunate alignment change. I suppose I realized this too late.

I've noticed a lot of fancy numbers and parameters in the Affects section in the editor (I've seen a line that reads Alignments Change - I suppose I should simply delete this one?), but I have no clue as to which to edit/replace/delete.

Thank-you in advance!!!

I think you should try to just "set" the alignment to Lawful Good again, even if it already says Lawful Good. If it doesn't change anything, set it to some other alignment, any alignment, save changes, then set it to Lawful Good and save changes again. You can do this in the "Charachteristics" tab. As for HP, just change the Base HP; If Base HP is 110, change it to 95 (110-15=95). You can do this in the "Abilities" tab. To change saving throws, just subtract 2 from each type of saving throw. For example, if these are your saving throws: 8, 4, 7, 11, 5 - change them to 6, 2, 5, 9, 3 (8-2=6, 4-2=2, 7-2=5, 11-2=9, 5-2=3). You can do this in the "Savin Throws" tab. Save changes.

That's just it! I've tried this procedure, but alas, the alignment remains Neutral Evil. :( On a slight sidenote, what is really curious is that my Paladin retains all her Paladin abilities and that she has not fallen from grace despite the drastic change in alignment.

Splendid idea. Thank you!

The alignment change you've experienced isn't a permanent one. There is a global variable, probably the one you noticed, that causes the alignment to read as "Neutral Evil". It was set when you took the "evil" way on one of the Tear of Bhaal quests. Try removing that variable and see what happens. Just make sure you backup the original save, just in case something breaks ;)

I believe there are both global and local variables to the choices, those that affect only your character are local, and the larger ones on evil/good choice is global. However, as I don't have a savegame at the Hell trials myself I cannot check the specific variable names you need.

and a little further google-fu from my side:

Alignment change is under affects, and check if the param2 value says 35. If it does, delete it any any others like it and you should be back to your awful goodness in no time.

Aye, that did the trick! Thank you and Vaypah both. I simply could not wrap my old RP brain around the notion of a selfless, just, valiant and evil-smiting Neutral Evil character. Plus she looks kind of virginly innocent on her portrait, so there was simply no way I could let her slide so low down the alignment bar.

Now if you only knew how to replace the hitpoints bonus with a saving throw bonus, I'd be positively beaming. Yes I realize I can do this by fiddling with the attributes, but I'm just curious whether this can be done by adjusting the Affects values too (all Tears of Bhaal bonuses appear in the Affects section, too).

Incidentally, Kheros - and since you seem to have a far greater understanding of the editor than I - would you know if it is possible to edit Sarevok's character so that I can remove the geas I put on him by letting him pledge an oath of loyalty to me?

You should be able to change the +15 hp to +2 all saves, however I don't know the specific parameter for that, but you could ask the modders at http://www.gibberlings3.net/

As for Sarevok and the geas, sure, but thats through dialogue yes? You could change his dialogue variable to a # before the geas question, then take the dialogue again and not ask for a geas. This should effectively change Sarevok from geas'ed to non-geased.

The easy way it to that is to play another character ( hopefully you have a savegame nearby) than copypaste the corresponding affects (there are multiple) between savegames in Shadowkeeper. Look for Ressource 3 for names. Its easy to identify. They arent really easy to create, but easy to copy.
