Sarevok does strange damage with Psion's blade?

Every now and then Sarevok does exactly 200 points of damage. He is using Psion's blade. I have not noticed this happen with other weapons.
What the @#$% is this? Does anyone know, or have similar experience?

This is his special ability - called Deathbringer Assualt - there's a 3% chance that he will do 200 damage per hit, he also have a 10% chance of stunning his target for 12 seconds. Oh, the weapons doesn't matter, this is his innate ability, so it works with any weapon.

Yeah, it's pretty sweet
There is an animation when it happens, it's sort of like the "celestial fury" animation, but different, kind of like a fireworks going off or something. He also has a chance to stun his enemies. If you look in the text, it will say "Deathbringer Assualt".

Yeah, but it never seems to happen unless it is totally unecesary.

will that deathbringer assault work even though if i hav3 dual classed him to a fighter mage???

I'm pretty sure that it will still work, but 3% is very rare, so it's hard to test.
