Say you have your level 23 bard cast spirit armour on your level 19 Kensai. Is it the level of the kensai or the level of the bard that the game engine checks when a remove magic is cast?

I think it does, as it removes all magic (For certain levels)

It's the caster's level (bard) that is checked. (chance to dispel = 50% + 5%/(diff of level)

i think It's just WRONG the way that it's done at 2nd ed AD&D: with the same experience, a bard, basically a musician, can dispel and cast certain spells better than a highly-especialized, intelligent, trained, etc pure spell caster.

Is dispel strength capped at level 20 like other spells in TOB or is it special??

It can't be capped at level 20 cause then the Inquisitor kit would be useless and it isn't.

Hmmm, well that's what my intuition tells me too, but I would like some hard confirmation.
