Warrior attributes need help

Hi everyone,
I was following these forums for a while and when I thought I got enough knowledge to create desired character, I failed...
I've been trying to understand how exactly stat leveling works. I know, if I want to get maximum from stats at first I need to get my endurance to 100 asap so I get 10% to health each time I level up. And the other important thing as warrior in my opinion is going to be strength. That's what I had problem with. For Endurance I'm going to increase characters Heavy Armor mostly and meanwhile work on Armorer, Block after those two. For Strength, as warrior, Blade is going to be my main killing power.
People say that you want to have your main skills in minor list and I kinda see their point. And I tried to follow their advise.What I did is I left the prison, raided couple caves and ruins, and when the time came to level up, I had 21 Blade and 40 Heavy Armor, I could only increase Endurance +4, no points for strength.
I don't get it. Can someone please explain me what exactly I am supposed to do to get +5 strength, +5 to endurance.

Do I need to have Blades, which is going to be my primary hitting source, in the major or minor?

If I'm going to have it in major, do I need to have other STR related skills too?
The same question goes for Endurance.

For clarification, the skills that affect strength are Blade, hand to hand and blunt; endurance by armourer, block and heavy armour.

What I'd suggest is putting armourer, block and heavy armour as majors, along with skills you will never use, for example:

Armourer
Block
Heavy Armour
Light Armour (make sure you never wear any),
Conjuration (be warned that using one of the rune stones that gives you Daedric weapon and armour increase your conjuration a little)
Alteration
Illusion

By never using the endurance based skills this will guarantee +5 endurance every time you level up.

To increase you strength, buy 5 skill points in any of the three weapons, and alternate which weapons you use. Keep a record of your weapon skills each time you level up, so you can ensure you gain 10 skill points in them by the time you level up again; if you are getting close to gaining a level before reaching a total of ten in the three skills, stop blocking keep armour repair to a minimum, and if necessary take off your armour and run around the waters edge beating up mudcrabs.

Yes it sucks that you have to go through such nonsense, but thank Bethesda for concocting such a stupid levelling system and limited skill set for that. Limiting the number of skill training sessions you could purchase made things worse; It wasn't nearly as much hassle in Morrowind.

I'd also advise concentrating on increasing agility as well, Marksman, Sneak and Security, all of which are fairly easy to increase without concentrating too much. Bows are good, but are best used when hidden (double or triple damage depending on your sneak level), although marksman does increase infuriatingly slowly.

To summarise: You need to increase the related skills by a total of ten between levelling up (e.g. 3 Blade, 3 Blunt and 4 hand to hand); you need to avoid increasing major skills that give you the attribute increases you don't want.

Note, once you've attained 100 in Strength and Endurance you can level up fairly quickly any time you want by repeatedly casting magicka cheap spells or wearing light armour in the example I gave.
