Wnat to join or a forum rpg, not really any idea what to do though.

So i want to join one, because i like the idea of a pnp (or keyboard and screen
) rpg, but i have no idea what im meant to do or anything.
Help?

Hey there!
Firstly, you need to decide on a rule set (DnD, Star Wars d20, Call of Cthulu, Vampire: the Masquesrade, etc.). Then find a campaign using your desired rule set and read through it, taking note of how players interact with the world and characters there in. Once you have a good idea of how a game progresses make a character and think about how he/she would react in the situations the players encountered in your 'study' campaign. When you are confident in your abilities search the web for a new campaign. It worked for me

@My.angelica did you ever find a group? I still wouldn't mind to play if anyone has a group. I would prefer dedicated people who don't flake out.
